Seacrest Beach

Seacrest Beach is a hidden paradise, where outdoor activity flourishes with Camp Creek Lake and golf club. Visit Seacrest Beach, Florida for the perfect relaxing vacation.

About

Seacrest Beach, Florida begins after the big bend in the road on Scenic Highway 30A. The road still follows the gulf here, and passes through areas with an up-close view of just how wild and dense the coastal scrub can get. Suddenly, rising out of the dunes, is the residential community of Seacrest. Camp Creek Lake is one outstanding feature of the Seacrest Beach area, as is the area golf club with its marshlands, perfect for wading birds, plantings of more than 200 live oaks, and its challenging landscape.Seacrest Beach - A Designated Blue Wave Beach

Seacrest Beach is a new beach community made up of cottages and condominiums hidden behind natural dunes and is located on the south end of Beaches of South Walton, between Watersound and Rosemary Beach.

Accommodations

Seacrest is a beach community made up of cottages and condominiums hidden behind natural dunes and is located on the south end of Beaches of South Walton, between WaterSound and Rosemary Beach.

One of the least developed and most scenic of the coastal dune lakes can be found here.  Named Camp Creek, it is located on the western edge of the community and extends north and south of 30-A. Legend says that the Creek Indians lived in this area and that the lake was named in their honor.

Seacrest is considered one of the quietest beach communities in Beaches of South Walton.

Activities

Seacrest provides the unique opportunity to find the explorer within. Home to one of northwest Florida’s hidden treasures, Deer Lake State Park, Seacrest offers undeveloped, pristine beach and lake areas ideal for those who prefer solitude and natural beauty. Hikers can wander through 1,700 acres of unmarked trails that meander through native vegetation.

Another of Seacrest’s most distinctive attractions, Camp Creek Lake, is a coastal dune lake, a geological feature so rare it is found only in Beaches of South Walton and remote portions of Africa, Australia and New Zealand. The golf club that takes its name, Camp Creek Golf Club, has an 18-hole golf course designed by a world-renowned designer Tom Fazio. Accented by live oaks and surrounded by beautiful lakes, the vivid landscape of Camp Creek is a visual treat for golfers.

With emerald green waters, soothing rays of sunshine and sugar-white sand beaches, Seacrest is a perfect destination for those seeking family relaxation and enjoyment.  Its recreational offerings include swimming in the Gulf of Mexico or a swimming pool, biking trails, tennis courts, shopping and antiquing.
